Amazon Hope turns 25!
For 25 years, The Amazon Hope Medical Programme has been bringing essential healthcare to some of the most remote communities along the Amazon River in Peru.
For people living in these communities, access to healthcare is often incredibly difficult. There are no roads connecting many villages to larger towns and hospitals. Our medical teams travel by boat to communities where people might otherwise have little or no access to essential healthcare. They provide free consultations, treatment, medicines, health education and vital support to people who need it most.
This year, we are incredibly proud to celebrate 25 years of Amazon Hope.That milestone would never have been possible without the extraordinary generosity of the Vine Trust community. From the people who have donated over the years, to the volunteers who have travelled to Peru, the medical teams who have served on board, our partners and everyone who has shared Amazon Hope's story - thank you!

As we celebrate 25 years, we are looking ahead to the next 25.
Over the past year, the cost of operating our medical ships has increased significantly due to challenging global economic conditions. One of the biggest pressures has been the rising cost of fuel - something we simply cannot do without. At the same time, the cost of medical supplies, equipment and other essential operating costs have also increased.
We need your help to meet these rising costs and keep Amazon Hope moving.
We have set ourselves a target of £20,000 to help meet the increased costs of running Amazon Hope. Your donation, whatever the amount, will help us continue taking healthcare to people living in some of Peru's most remote communities.
