A word from the Vine Trust...
Ryan is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Ryan's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.
Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.
Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.
Fundraising Activity
In June 2025, myself and 23 other students from Millburn Academy will be travelling to Tanzania to work with Vine Trust partners. For two weeks, we will work with these Tanzanian partners in the preparation for and building of family homes for vulnerable families within the region. We will have the opportunity to meet with young people who have benefited from similar, earlier projects and learn about the difference it has made to their lives. How I'm raising money
Over the next 15 months, I will be raising money from both individual and group activities. To date, I have run a Christmas Pamper Hamper raffle, a car boot sale and a Cathedral Window concert ticket give away. Over the next few months I will be holding a cycling challenge, a Golfing Day and a dog-walking activity. As a team, we have held bake sales, bucket collections and shove-a-penny games at local school discos. We will also be doing a team mountain climbing challenge later in the year.Share this page
