Ross’ Tanzania Trip

A word from the Vine Trust...

Ross is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.

Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Ross's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.

Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.

Fundraising Activity

I’m fundraising because I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to travel to Tanzania with my school to take part in a community-building project. During the trip, our group will work alongside local residents to help build houses and improve living conditions for families who need safe, reliable shelter. This experience isn’t just about travelling—it’s a chance to make a real, lasting impact. We’ll be learning new skills, contributing to meaningful development work, and gaining a deeper understanding of global challenges and the importance of community support. To take part, I need to raise funds to cover the cost of travel, accommodation, project materials, and other essentials that make the work possible. Your support—whether through donations or simply sharing my goal—will directly help me take part in a project that benefits others and helps me grow as a student and a global citizen. Thank you for considering supporting me. Every contribution brings me one step closer to this amazing and exciting opportunity.

How I'm raising money

I will be doing various activities and events to fundraise, including a music night in April which my Grandpa is helping me organise. I am also hoping to do a big sponsored cycle and other events together with my friends.
