A word from the Vine Trust...
Rosanna is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Rosanna's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.
Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.
Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.
Fundraising Activity
I am very fortunate to be one of the 24 Millburn Academy pupils who have been given this incredible opportunity to go to Tanzania in June 2025 to help vulnerable families. We will be based in a town called Moshi near Mount Kilimanjaro. During our 2 weeks in this poverty affected community we will be spending our time helping to build houses for those in need, seeing local families and exploring their culture. This trip will involve a lot of hard work but will be a great experience and we aim to have a life changing impact on the families we help. To take part in this incredible trip each of us have a target to individually raise £4000. Any help would be greatly appreciated. How I'm raising money
To reach my fundraising target so far I have helped out at various bake sales, got a part time job and ran a wine raffle. My future fundraising plans include quiz nights, sponsored runs, more bake sales, raffles and many more fun ideas as well as school organised group fundraisers such as a race night and a hill walk.Share this page
