A word from the Vine Trust...
Isaac is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Isaac's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.
Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.
Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.
Fundraising Activity
In June 2027, I will be travelling to Tanzania with my school to volunteer on a building project for ten days. We will be helping local communities by building houses and important infrastructure that will make a real difference to people’s everyday lives. I currently volunteer every week at a community café and I really enjoy being able to help people. I am applyed for this opportunity because I want to make a positive difference to communities around the world. I care deeply about others, and I believe that by working hard, being kind, and showing compassion, I can play a small part in improving people’s lives. I am also really interested in learning about different cultures across the world. I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give towards my fundraising efforts—every donation will help me to take part in this important project. Thank you so much, Isaac
How I'm raising money
We are raising money for this trip in many ways - firstly the 'bank of mum and dad' are paying a chunk, I am also selling as many of my 'things' (pokemon cards/clothes/items I no longer use) and I'm also holding bake sales. car washing and pizza nights. My sponsered event will involve running of course - my twin brother and I are pushing ourselves further than ever to raise money for this project. Together, we will be taking on three half marathons in just three months, and we’ve already started training. We’ll be running in April, May and June, and every mile we complete will get us one step closer to helping families in Tanzania. We know it’s going to be tough—but that’s exactly why we’re doing it. We want to show real commitment, challenge ourselves physically and mentally, and prove how much this project means to us. Any support you can give will make a huge difference—and will keep us going when things get difficult!
