A word from the Vine Trust...
MISS G is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of MISS G's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.
Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.
Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.
Fundraising Activity
I HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN MY APPLICATION TO BE PART OF A RESIDENTIAL TRIP TO TANZANIA IN 2025 WHEN I WILL BE IN S6 IN MILLBURN ACADEMY. The purpose of the trip is to support the construction of small family homes in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. The work will provide shelter and security for some of the worlds most vulnerable people. We will learn about the culture, history and nature of Tanzania. I am excited to experience another culture and learn from collaborating with local people. We hope to become ambassadors for change, representing those living in poverty and we aim to overcome cultural and language differences to support and complete our project. I have to individually raise £3300 to enable me to take part in this life changing, once in a lifetime experience. The costs include flights and transfers, all transport moving in and around Tanzania, accommodation & food as well as other expenses. How I'm raising money
I will undertake various activities to raise money for this. I will help at various local events ie football matches and running events. I will offer my skills as a highland dancer. I will offer my services as a babysitter. I plan to undertake various events with others involved in this project - ie a ceilidh or a race night. As a group we plan to climb a mountain. I will organise hampers to be won and hope to received prizes for raffles from local businesses and friends.Share this page
