A word from the Vine Trust...
Caela is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Caela's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.
Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.
Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.
Fundraising Activity
I am raising money to go on a trip to Tanzania in 2025. When I am in Tanzania I will be building houses for those who are most vulnerable and need help urgently. Some of these people are children, orphaned by AIDS, HIV, and TB. We will be paying for the materials used to build the foundations, and we will be working with local groups in the Moshi Village and we will be meeting people our own age. I am raising this money to help others and to truly make a difference around the world.
How I'm raising money
To raise this money, I will be doing group fundraisers and individual funding. I am working with my friends who are also going on this trip to raise money through raffles and sales and have done so already. With the school, we will be hosting a race night, climbing Ben Hope, and doing other fundraising. Individually, I am helping neighbours and family, taking part in car boot sales, crafts, and many more to come.
