A word from the Vine Trust...
Neil is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust Building Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust Building Expeditions are an opportunity for volunteers to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes and larger children’s homes for some of the world’s most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Neil's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's Tanzanian Building programme.

Fundraising Activity
We are both looking forward to visiting Tanzania on 17th August to volunteer with the Vine Trust. This well-established charity has already constructed over 140 homes in and around Moshi, in the Kilimanjaro Region. Vine Trust works with the Tanzania Women’s Research Foundation (TAWREF) to build individual homes for vulnerable families and orphans. We will engage with TAWREF’s programmes but mainly we’ll be hands-on mixing concrete and laying real foundations.How I'm raising money
We have fully-funded our trip and some construction costs but would like to offer friends the opportunity to contribute to the cost of a few bricks. The converted cost of a clay brick is around 40 pence so please help if you a can with a modest donation.Share this page
