A word from the Vine Trust...

Jacqui is fundraising in aid of Vine Trust.

Vine Trust is an international development charity which connects volunteers from around the world with sustainable and effective projects which support some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. Working closely with in-country partners, Vine Trust seeks to empower local people to achieve their full potential, through the provision of primary healthcare, secure accommodation, and social care and support.

To date, Vine Trust has provided over 2.5 million healthcare consultations on the Peruvian Amazon and Lake Victoria, Tanzania. Our partners and volunteers have also completed almost 150 family homes in Moshi, Tanzania, as well as the first homes at Kazunzu "Village of Hope" on the shore of Lake Victoria, providing security, shelter and a brighter future for vulnerable children and families.

Donations made through this page will contribute towards the work of Vine Trust, including the upkeep and development of the charity’s international programmes.

Many thanks for supporting Vine Trust – together we are helping to support vulnerable communities through effective and sustainable development.

Please note: Vine Trust does not accept responsibility for the fundraising activities of persons fundraising in aid of their expedition or the Trust. Any views expressed on this page are solely those of the named fundraiser and/or their donors, not Vine Trust.

Fundraising Activity

2025 marks a monumental milestone for the The Vine Trust, we're turning 40! That's four incredible decades of planting seeds of change, supporting communities, and transforming lives in Peru and Tanzania. We are launching an exciting fundraising campaign to help fuel our next 40 years of growth. Whether you have been with us from the start or you're new to the Vine Trust family, we're asking for your help in continuing our mission, supporting 4 key projects, which will allow us to: • Provide 75,000 medical prescriptions to remote communities through the Amazon Hope Medical Programme. • Provide 50,000 medical prescriptions to fishing communities via the Jubilee Hope Medical Programme • Construct 2 Rainwater tanks for families in Kazunzu Village of Hope to support domestic and agricultural use • Build a home for a vulnerable mother and her children in Moshi through our partnership with TAWREF, providing safe and secure housing We've accomplished so much over the past 40 years, and we're so excited to see where the next 40 will take us. But we can't get there without you!

How I'm raising money

We will be hosting celebration events across Scotland to connect with fellow supporters and share in our achievements. We are encouraging our supporters to lace up their trainers and fundraise for Vine Trust by taking part in the Kiltwalk 2025. We are asking our supporters to host their own fundraiser - host a bake or book sale, quiz night, or challenge. Get in touch for more details! To have a discussion about the many ways in which you can fundraise for our 40th Anniversary, please contact jacqui@vinetrust.org
