A word from the Vine Trust...
Cobey is fundraising in aid of their Vine Trust School Expedition to Tanzania. Vine Trust School Expeditions are an opportunity for students to make a real and lasting difference to Tanzanian communities living in poverty. Working closely with our in-country partners, volunteers construct individual family homes for some of the world's most vulnerable people - providing shelter, security and hope, and empowering communities to achieve a brighter future.
Donations made through this page will contribute towards the cost of Cobey's expedition, including international flights, accommodation, food, in-country transport, and the purchase of construction materials and resources. Any additional funds raised will go towards future Vine Trust construction projects and the development of Vine Trust's programmes.

Fundraising Activity
I’m hoping to raise enough funds to travel to Moshi, Tanzania in June 2026 and to help buy building materials and then actually help build homes, working with Tanzania Women’s Research Foundation (TAWREF). TAWREF’s work places a special emphasis on improving the lives of children, young people, and women in and around the Moshi region: they engage with local leadership and families to identify specific needs and conduct in-depth research to determine the most effective and appropriate way in which to empower these communities. I will not only experience first-hand the incredible benefits of sustainable community development practices by working under the guidance of our partners’ team, I’ll also spend time with some of the families that TAWREF support, hearing their individual stories and understanding just how the provision of a new home can make such a transformational difference to their sense of stability and security.
How I'm raising money
I’ll be bagging 3 munro’s in 24 hours on Saturday 31st May.
